If you love history, this is definitely a must visit. If you’re visiting with kids make sure you check their website for free events, like many English Heritage properties they have plenty of events going on during school holidays.

For those with access needs there is an exhibition area which is completely accessible as are most of the grounds and the Elizabethan garden. However, to enjoy the views from the towers, these are only accessed by a staircase.
There is a cafe, however, it is quite small and variety is limited, with so much space and a picnic area it’s definitely worth taking your own food and sitting out enjoying the stunning surroundings.
Kenilworth doesn’t have a kids play area, but with lots of outside space, and plenty of banks to roll down the kids can still burn off some energy.
